TWO employees of Halifax Property Services are preparing for a gruelling 12-hour aerobics marathon in aid of Children in Need.
Louise Fowler, from Trowbridge, and Paula Hillier, from Warminster, will be taking part in the session being held by Fit 2 Perform Fitness Studio in Warminster.
The event was also run last year, when both friends could only take part for a couple of hours. This year they decided to go for the full 12 hours.
Mrs Fowler and Mrs Hillier both go to aerobics classes two or three times a week and are well-trained for this ultimate challenge.
Many other people will be taking part for however long they feel they can.
The marathon involves not just aerobics, but also line dancing, body max, Tai Bo, salsa dancing and Tai Chi, some of which those taking part will be trying for the first time.
The fundraisers will be exercising from midday until midnight, with only a few minutes to recover between classes.
Mrs Fowler commented: "I'll probably need to stay in bed for the rest of the weekend."
Anyone wishing to sponsor Mrs Fowler or Mrs Hillier can call them on (01225) 752375 or (01985) 215345.
