A GOOD Samaritan has fallen victim to thieves.
Michael Barnett, of Semington, became a victim of crime while he was trying to trace the owner of a lost wallet.
Mr Barnett, 20, was on his way to work at Tesco in Trowbridge at 5.40am when he found a wallet in Hilperton Road.
A couple of hours later he managed to make contact with the owner.
Meanwhile, thieves were removing the lights from Mr Barnett's bicycle, which he had left locked outside Tesco. They were special twin-spot lamps which cost £65.
Mr Barnett said: "I bought special lights because I travel to and from work in the dark. This is very sickening."
