HUGE efforts are being made to prevent the loss of the farmers' market from Melksham.
The market is under threat due to lack of support and a plan is now in place to fight for its survival.
Peter Dunford, West Wiltshire District Council's economic development officer, said: "We are putting a lot of effort into promoting the market and are now looking at a different location."
