PROUD Aussie Mark Robertson wants to crown an unforgettable week by scoring a goal for his newborn baby.
Robertson, whose wife, Lucia, gave birth to their first child on Wednesday, could be given a chance in the Town firing line tomorrow (Saturday, October 21).
Gary Alexander is struggling to be fit for the clash with Bristol Rovers so Colin Todd is likely to choose between Robertson and Grazioli for the starting berth alongside Martin Williams.
Robertson, 23, featured as a second half substitute against Swansea on Tuesday unaware Lucia, 23, had gone into labour at Princess Margaret Hospital.
Baby girl Taylor arrived the following day, weighing 8lb 7oz.
Robertson said: "I didn't find out until after the game on Tuesday that Lucia had gone into labour.
"Fortunately I had my dad with me and we were able to rush back down the motorway so I got to the hospital in plenty of time."
Robertson would love nothing more than to celebrate the arrival of Taylor with a goal.
"It would be great to be involved and to score a goal would be even better," he said. "I'll have to start working on a celebration just in case. There must be something that involves a cradle.
"We are both really chuffed with Taylor and would like to thank Jeannie Hutchins (sister in the delivery suite), Martina O'Connell and Rhian Davis (midwives) for everything they have done for us."
Manager Todd said Robertson was in his thoughts for the weekend clash with Rovers.
"Gary Alexander is struggling with an ankle knock so Mark is certainly in my plans," he said.
