DRAWINGS by local school pupils have gone on show at the Wyvern Theatre as part of a national campaign to encourage drawing.
The display, which runs until November 12, is billed as an impressive glimpse of the talent of pupils of different ages in the town.
Pupils at Kingsdown and Commonweal Secondary Schools and Bishopstone, Brookfield and Windmill Hill primary schools have all taken part.
They have explored a number of themes in different ways as part of the national Big Draw campaign.
Drawing techniques include scribble portraits of Olympic athletes, marks made in pastels and charcoal and pencil interpretations of William Shakespeare.
The exhibition is being staged in the Foyer Gallery at the Wyvern in Theatre Square. For opening times and more information, the theatre can be contacted on Swindon 535534.
