Two from Stuart Douglas and a Matthew Spring penalty put Luton three up after only 36 minutes against Brentford. Andy Scott's ninth of the season made it 3-1.
Andy Clarke's solo effort after 69 minutes was enough to give Peterborough a 1-0 win over Notts County and Chris Killen settled the Welsh derby by giving Wrexham a 1-0 win over Swansea.
