Screwfix Round-Up: Warminster and Melksham both booked their passage into the second round of the FA Vase.

Warminster Town beat Elmore 4-1 at home with a superb all-round display but still needed extra time to complete the job.

Chris Roseby bagged a brace, while John Hayter and Theobald also scored.

Manager Gerry Pearson was delighted with his side's performance.

He said: "We were superb out there. They were a good side but we were just so much better. We just rose to the occasion and out-performed them."

Melksham beat Eastleigh 3-0, with two goals from striker Matt Messenger and one from Steve Seals sending them through to the next round.

Manager Robbie Lardner said: "I was very pleased with the lads. We've been working hard recently.

"You never know with a cup competition like this: if we get some luck with the draw and a home tie, we could go a long way."

In the Screwfix Premier League, Devizes Town clinched a 2-1 victory in the last minute against Backwell United.

Tim Wootton was the hero for Devizes, when he volleyed home a corner in injury time to seal the points.

Brian Newlands' side are in preparation for next week's FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round match, when they travel as underdogs to London-based Kingstonian .

Chippenham Town beat Bishop Sutton 5-1 with another excellent performance away from home.

However, they are struggling to get a side for their Wiltshire Premier Shield clash with Salisbury City tomorrow. They have five players out injured, and two suspended.

Corsham Town drew 1-1 at Ilfracombe Town, and Calne Town lost 2-0 at home to Clyst.

New Pewsey Vale manager Don Rogers saw his side lose 4-0 to Keynsham Town.
