Teenagers will have a chance to get their hands on a new CitizenCard this half term at the Brunel Centre.
Proof-of-age card applications will be available from until Sunday at the shopping centre.
Swindon Borough Council will be showing a video about the scheme and will be giving leaflets and application forms to shoppers.
On Friday, Citizen-Card UK will produce cards for pupils from Warneford School, High-worth and Headlands School, while they wait.
It takes less than two minutes to produce each card.
Councillor John Taylor, (Lab, Central) the council's lead member for healthy living, said: "Age is an important issue to all of us, especially during our teenage years.
"This scheme will help young people establish just who they are and ensure they can take advantage of the many discounts available to them on buses and trains and in museums and other attractions."
The council has teamed up with Wilt-shire Health Authority and local businesses to provide all teenagers who live in Swindon with a free CitizenCard proof of age.
All they have to do is complete an application form.
