Those with a love for learning can continue their education during the half term holiday.
The Children's University at New College Building is hoping to build on the success of its summer holiday scheme by running further courses. The next session of activities will be hosted by Kingsdown School in Stratton St Margaret.
There will be learning opportunities for youngsters in school years five to seven. Subjects on offer will range from Spanish to chess.
Parents are invited to visit the school at 11.15am on Friday, October 27, to enjoy a taster of some of the activities being offered.
A special presentation assembly will be staged at midday. Plans are already underway for the February half term and for the Easter holidays for more Children's University activities.
Rob Crow, Children's University manager, said: "There is a fresh bid to provide extra funds to mount an even more extensive programme during next summer."
