Chairman Terry Brady has revealed that Town could be about to swoop for two players.
He told the Evening Advertiser last night that he was keen to improve the squad and would continue negotiations this week.
It is believed that the duo in question could be defender John Jensen (23) and midfielder Dennis Siim (24) from AGF Aarhus.
Their agent, Richard Cody, told the PlanetFootball website that the only sticking point to any deal would be whether the two clubs ccould agree a fee for the players.
"The question is if the club's finances match with the demands from AGF," said Cody, who is also agent for Colin Todd.
Brady was coy about the two Danes but confirmed that he was in negotiations.
"Colin Todd has now had a good look at the team and he knows where our strengths and weaknesses are. We want to improve the squad," he said.
"There are a number of players who we are looking at and we will need to make sure that we bring in the right ones.
"I have been in negotiations with two Danish lads and we will continue to speak with their clubs this week. We would like to have them, but they are not our only targets."
