Swindon Town Ladies 0, Bristol Rovers 2: Swindon Town Ladies lost their first game of the season when they were beaten by 2-0 by Bristol Rovers in the South West Combination League.
The Town started well and twice went close to scoring in the first minute. Clare Wheeler's corner fell to Kim Reeves whose shot was blocked and Georgia Alcock latched onto the rebound but her shot too hit a defender and was cleated.
The Town were enjoying the better of the play but Rovers took the lead in the 20th minute. Marcia Dean played the ball into the Town box. The Town defenders failed to clear and the ball fell to Kerry Weaver who hit it into the top corner of the net.
The Town started the second half on defence as Rovers looked to increase their lead, which they did in the 71st minute. Substitute Wendy Wells reacted first to a loose clearance to drive the ball low into the net.

The Town Reserves fared better and beat Didcot Town 10-0. The Town's goals came from Sandy Dillon (4), Hayley Huckin (3), Denise Warburton, Michelle Rich and an own goal.
