Honda Logistics Swindon Sunday League: Juventus thumped AFC Gas 9-0 in Division One. Tate Hulbert helped himself to five goals. Vinny Parker, Jamie Garbutt, Ricky Mazzotta, and an own goal completed the scoring.
AFC Wroughton beat Dunbar Club 5-1 with a treble for Geoff Swatton. Neil Mathews and Paul Patel added one each. Wheatsheaf defeated Wroughton WMCB 3-1 with goals from Paul Soakell, Patch Gallagher, and Rob Etherington. Globe shared a 2-2 draw against Greyhound. A pair for Lee Hurd for Globe, with Stuart Morse and Keith Walker replying.
Division Two
Coleshill picked up their first win of the season beating Pewsey Saints 9-1 with double strikes for Gio Desands, Mike Juggins, Danny McBirnie, and solo effort from Martin Chivers, Geordie Brown and Alex Filla. Blyskawica beat Haydon Wick WMC 6-2. Scorers were Craig Alexander (3), and one each for Phil Trueman, Meic Wojewodka and Phil Niewiadomski. Tran Staff edged out Alanbrook 2-1 with goals from Ian Starkey and Matt Sadler.
Division Three
Pace setters Dynamo Ashton walloped Mallard 9-1. Scorers were Lee Harris (4), Ian Richards(2), Mark Cutter, Martin Curtis and Rob Dixon. Carriers Arms beat Southbrook 6-4, Richard Philling (3), Jon Peters, Mark Peters, and Craig Lach scoring. Jesters went down 2-1 against Arkells Bakers. Lee Pierce was on target for Jesters.
Division Four
South Marston beat Thamesdown Nalgo 4-0 with a brace for Simon Howard, Gavin Kaye and Mark Hughes clinched the points. KMLC beat Old Nick 2-1. Ritchie Rees (2) did the damage for KMLC.
Division Five
Covingham Hen crushed Swindon Police 8-0 with treble strikes for Wayne Petrie and Paul Hughes . Andy Hester grabbed the others. Fox & Hounds beat Wroughton Nalgo 4-2. Steve Webb (2) Marc Connelly (2) for F&H. Table toppers Penhill Utd drew 3-3 against Wessex. Darren Smart, Trevor Hamley and own goal scoring for Penhill Utd.
Division Six
Top of the league County Ground Hotel beat second placed Village Inn 7-2. Gareth Davis notched up four goals, with one apiece for Jev Coles, Micky Moore and Mark Smith . Town and Country beat the Angel 6-0, Mark Hammond grabbing four and Sav Grucci and Dave Belcher one each for T&C. ISSC had a ding dong win over Corstat 7-4. Steve Bradley (3), Mark Allen (2), Jason Lyne and Darren Howell scoring. Great Bedwyn recorded their first win of the season beating Ghost Train 1-0, Graham Coote scoring. Queensfield have Robin Crees to thank for scoring the winner 1-0 against Ambulance Ath.
Division Seven
Southside had the best win of the day crushing the 419ers 10-1. Top goal scorer of the day was Andy Philips who helped himself to eight goals and Carl Savory added a double to complete the route for Southside. G&E Brickies edged out Abbey Mead with a Mark Wilson goal. Faringdon Rd Grapes beat Tibbett and Britten 5-1. Mark Malham (3), Ally Oldacre and Ian Carter scoring. Swindon Cerney defeated Hogshead 5-0, with two for James Austen one each for Chris Bamford, Simon McCluskey and Tony Brown. Friary SS beat Nationwide 3-1 with goals from Tim Norris(2) and Nick Peart.
Division Eight
League leaders Castrol beat basement club Aldbourne 8-0. Craig Ingram (3), Wayne Thompson (2), Brett Gilder (2) and Ian Matthews scoring. Caulfield beat ACL 9-3. Mark Townsend (6), Tom Sardo, Tony Virgilio and Dennis Cannel scoring. Iceland Utd beat Longs Bar 6-1. Bruce Wright (3), Micky Toone, Wayne Sowerby, and Danny Fossey scoring.
