We often report on stories about the good deeds of Swindonians helping others.
Today we have told the remarkable story of Trevor King and his son James, who saved pensioner Bridget Minogue from drowning in a cesspit.
Of course we would all like to think that in their shoes we would have acted in the same way.
But the father and son really must be congratulated on their calmness and quick-thinking.
We wish Mrs Minogue well in her recovery from her ordeal.
