The Wyvern Theatre is going Abba mad this season, with no fewer than three tribute bands to the glam rock legends appearing at the venue.
Staff at the theatre decided to get in the mood for the dancing queens by donning the 70s gear of the Swedish songsters.
Nicki Western, from the theatre, is a big fan of Abba and really excited about the shows.
"It's my era. I think it's fantastic. These shows are always popular,'' he said.
Paying homage on November 1 and 3 are Voulez Vous, who are entering their ninth year. They will play a two-hour set of Abba memorabilia nine number ones, 19 top 20 hits and costume changes from the band's 70s glam wardrobe, which changes every year.
Getting you dancing in the aisles to Waterloo and Name of The Game will be Abba Gold, who like their audience to dress in 70s style. They will be performing on Sunday, December 3, at 7.30pm, with tickets from £12.50.
Mamma Mia The Tribute features two tribute bands: Abba Magic, who were formed in 1996 and appeared on BBC TV, Wembley Stadium and were guests of Richard Branson at the Roof Garden Restaurant; and Bee Gees Magic, whom Bee Gee Barry Gibb described as 'Wow! Fantastic!'.
Mamma Mia The Tribute is on Sunday, January 14, at 8pm and tickets are from £13.50.
All tickets are available from the theatre box office on Swindon 528144.
