IVEL BARBARIANS 26, SWINDON COLLEGE OB 20: Swindon College will be kicking themselves after this defeat knowing that it was two points thrown away.
College took a good 30 minutes to get the journey out of their systems and by then Ivel had taken a 14-3 lead.
They scored two converted tries both from College mistakes and the only reply was a penalty by Sean Millwaters.
College started the second half much stronger but were again punished for a mistake gifting the Ivel fullback with a try.
College then hit back when Mark Williams cut through the Ivel defence from the halfway line to sprint in to score leaving would be tacklers in his wake.
Millwaters added the convertion to make it 19-10, but the home side scored a similar try to maintain the gap.
College then went on all-out attack and from a neat back-row move, Tony Brant and Millwaters combined to put winger Brock over the line.
Winger Greig Evenett then scored a good try to reduce the arrears to just six points.
College should have gone on to win but a couple of passes went astray to deny them their chance.
