Dancers from one of the UK's top contemporary dance companies will be in residence at Swindon Dance next week.
Dancers from the Siobhan Davies Dance Company, including Siobhan, will take daily classes for professional dancers, teachers, talks and lectures by Orlando Gough, music, Sacha Keir, costume, David Buckland design and both a lecture and a master class with Siobhan herself.
On Friday November 3 there will be an evening of dance, music and discussion with extracts from Siobhan's latest work Of Oil and Water as well as a performance of White Man Sleeps.
The Siobhan Davies Dance Company has been going since 1988 and has created 18 works and won a string of accolades and awards, the last being the South Bank Show and Time Out.
The residency is at Swindon Dance from October 30 to November 3 in the Town Hall Studios, Regent Circus, Drove Community Hall, The Wyvern stage, and the Swindon College Lecture Hall.
