Stand-up comedian Steven Grant is the main comedy writer for Radio 1.
He writes for the early and main breakfast shows, co-writes for Scott Mills, and contributes to Clive Warren, Emma B, Nemone Metaxas and Vicky Marsden.
The fireball of energy is bringing his own unique talent to Swindon on Tuesday, October 31, at Chuckles Comedy Club in The Atrium, Havelock Square.
His forte is observational comedy.
Stephen plays host to more than 500 at his own club every weekend in Brighton and he also performs full sets, one man shows, MC and headlining slots.
He made his Edinburgh debut in August to a sell out audience at the Pleasance Theatre. He then appeared on Edinburgh or Bust for Channel 4 and Edinburgh Nights on BBC.
Other TV credits include Comedy Nation on BBC, Open Mic Awards on Channel 5 and Stand Up Live. His own show on BBC 2 is broadcast next week on November 2.
Joining Stephen at the autumn Chuckles meeting is Milton Jones, star of radio 4's The Very World of Milton Jones and TV's Stand Up Show, The Comedy Store and Big Stage.
He won Perrier best newcomer in 1996 and was nominated for a Perrier award in 1998.
His speciality is one-liners and he has just finished playing a part in The Strangerers, a science fiction comedy series from the writers of Red Dwarf.
The third comedian on the bill is Ian Stone who got Esther Ranzen to propose marriage, on his behalf, to his long term girlfriend live on air.
He is still waiting for an answer.
The proposal came during one of his interviews when he was hosting his own chat show The Big Schmooze on BBC GLR. The Comedy Store produced his new one hour show at the Assembley Rooms in Edinburgh.
He appeared with his friend Alan Davies on BBC1's Stand Up with Alan Davies documentary series and other TV credits include The Stand-Up Show, Satur-day Live, The Comedy Store, Live at Jong-leurs, The 11 O'Clock Show and Good Stuff.
Tickets for Chuckles Comedy Club are £5 in advance and £6 on the door. (01793) 490202 or 480051.
