FIVE founder members were among 120 guests who celebrated the 25th anniversary of Wootton Bassett Lions Club at a dinner dance at the Marriott Hotel, Swindon, on Friday.
Bob Astwood, Brian Fisher, Chris King, Bernard Workman and Lance Workman each received 25-year commemorative badges .
And Bernard Workman, who was the club's charter president, deputised for president Andre Punnett, who was away on business.
He proposed a toast to the club and to Lions International.
Guests observed a minute's silence in tribute to the late Sam Cox, an honorary member who was their host for almost ten years when the club met at Churchill House.
During the past 25 years, the club has raised more than £100,000 for local and international charitable work.
