THE Club held its AGM this month. Paul Lidbury stepped down as chairman. Member Derek Ashworth proposed a vote of thanks to Paul for his dedication during his term in office. The new chairman has yet to be confirmed.
After the AGM, the slide of the year competition was held. Some 34 slides were judged by the members present. First place was taken by Barbara Thorpe with a London cityscape. Second was a photograph of a potter's hands Working a Pot was Ken Loveday. Third was Vicki Midwinter with a shot of a squirrel.
Next month's meeting on November 14 will be the annual slide battle against Fulbrook Camera Club.
