NINE members of St Michael's Church choir travelled to Gloucester Cathedral last week to take part in the Royal School of Church Music Diocesan Millennium Festival. The event combined both the Bristol and Gloucester Diocese.
A total of 400 clergy and choristers from Wiltshire and Gloucestershire participated. The music ranged from the plainsong chant of the Middle Ages, to an anthem that had been composed six weeks previously.
The choirs returned home thoroughly exhilarated after taking part in a memorable and an enjoyable event.
