Departing Colin Todd managed Town for 142 days and leaves the club third from bottom of Division Two.
May 4: Todd is appointed manager. He said: "I think Swindon can become a club that is going to be recognised in the football world."
May 9: Chairman Cliff Puffett said: "There will be substantial funds available for squad strengthening once we are out of administration."
May 11: Investor Terry Brady earmarks a 100-acre site off the M4 to build a new stadium.
May 26: Brady announces he wants to see Town playing in the new stadium by 2003.
June 9: Terry Brady said: "We've got to get out of the second division as quickly as possible. I really don't think Premiership football by 2003 is an unrealistic goal."
June 26: Terry Brady said: "Colin Todd was always my number one choice. I intend going over budget to build a squad good enough to get out of the second division and hold its own in the first division."
July 24: Terry Brady deal is finalised. He said: "Once we get planning permission for a new stadium then money is no object. Once we get that, Colin Todd can have whatever money it takes to get us into the Premiership."
August 11: Terry Brady becomes chairman.
August 12: Town start the season with a 0-0 draw against Colchester and lose 2-0 at Reading the following Saturday.
August 22: Swindon draw 1-1 with Exeter in the Worthington Cup. Todd said: "Things have not gone as smoothly as I would have liked."
August 26: A miserable weekend as Town lose 4-1 at home to Walsall and then are defeated 3-0 at Port Vale.
September: Away wins at Bristol City and Luton are soured by a disastrous 3-0 loss at Bournemouth and exit from the Worthington Cup to Tranmere.
October 11: Todd is interviewed on Sky TV's The Last Word with Jimmy Hill. He said: "The expectations from a lot of people are that we can get straight out of Division Two but that will not be the case. I have a chairman who thinks we can get out straight away and I disagree with him on that."
October 21: Town lose 3-1 at home to Bristol Rovers. Todd said: "I have been in this situation before as a manager. It is what I get paid for and we have a lot of work to do."
October 24: After suffering a 2-0 defeat against Millwall and being sent off from the touchline, Todd offers his resignation.
