I can't understand why I never see a swallow now.

When I was a child they used to build their nests under the eaves of houses, then at a certain time of the year they would all depart, mostly to Capistrano in USA.

I have visited there and the people of Capistrano make a festival of it when the swallows return. Then in the spring, back they came to England to build their nests and rear their young, but I have not seen them for a long, long time.
