THE match of the day saw leaders Blue Circle Saints destroy second placed Southwick Sports and Social Club 7-3.

Liam Williams led the rout with four goals and Graham Deveney (2) and Steve Martin completed the hammering. Tom Mann, Carl Davies and Dan Allford found the mark for the stunned losers.

Sir Audley's Arms saw a welcome return to form for Keiron Smith, who bagged two in his side's 5-0 victory over Peter Black. Adie White, Luke Whiting and Steve Mallard, with a 40-yard scorcher, completed the Arms' nap hand.

Goals from Ronnie Kallimeir and Rob Smith earned North Star B a 2-0 victory over Old Road Tavern that saw them move off the bottom.

Two goals by Mark Flanagan was enough to earn Westbury Rangers B a 2-0 scoreline over Colerne B.

John Bowman hit five goals in his team's 7-1 stroll against Trowbridge Town Supporters' Club. Bowman opened the scoring in the first minute and completed it in the 90th minute. A double from Alan Eades completed Bradstone Rovers' seven and Martin Waker netted the Club's consolation.

Corsham Park Rangers defeated Black Horse Trowbridge 3-1.

This was after Clive Black had given the Horse a 33rd minute lead. Luke Wolf drew Rangers level with a lightening strike from 30 yards in the 67th minute.

Three minutes later Rangers took the lead with a 30-yard thunderbolt from Kevin Hansford.

Neil Bolton completed Rangers' win with an excellent individual effort in the 85th minute.

This Sunday sees the first round of the WG Parr Trophy, sponsored by Rainbow Launderette Trowbridge.

Holders Maud Heath Sports, from Division One, will have to put their poor league form behind them if they want to defend their silverware.

The Sports will have to be at their very best to defeat an in-form Wingfield side. In a repeat of last season's first round draw Wingfield will go out to reverse last term's 6-3 defeat.

Last season's beaten finalists, Division Four Corsham Park Rangers, travel to Lacock to take on one of the fancied sides, The George. The tie of the round sees Second Division Westbridge United at home to Third Division Semington Rovers.

Fourth Division leaders Blue Circle Saints are up against First Division Trowbridge Town Youth. Leaders of the Second Division, Trowbridge Harriers, take on draw specialists Gladstone Liberal Club.

A shock could be on the cards when Bradstone Rovers travel to Devizes to take on First Division Chippenham Police. Fourth Division North Star B will hopefully face Atworth United, who are looking to overcome their growing injury crisis.

Chippenham Black Horse will fancy their chances in the all-Third Division clash against Farmhouse FC and Bromham and Potley United should progress with victories over their respective opponents Old Road Tavern and Malmesbury Victoria.

Third Division Biddestone Social Club will face a stiff test against their Second Division opponents Cooper-Avon, but are more than capable of springing a surprise victory, as are Sutton Benger when they travel to face Hullavington.

Fourth Division Peter Black will be looking to return to winning ways while opponents AFC Unicorn will be looking for a victory that could well kick start their season.

West End Wanderers from Division Two are at home to First Division Colerne A in a match that could go either way.

l THE league have a shortage of referees for the following two Sundays.

This Sunday sees five matches without a match official while Sunday November 5 sees a total of 10 games without a referee.
