THE top match in the Premier Division of the Shoestrings sponsored Chippenham League saw leaders Westbury Rangers A consolidate top spot by defeating third placed Winsley 3-0.

Rangers opened the scoring in the fourth minute when Stuart Neate was on hand to slot the ball home from close range after Marc Lanfear's initial effort was spilled by Winsley goalkeeper Chris Birleson.

On the half hour mark Rangers' Richard Wyatt was denied by a brave save from goalkeeper Birleson. Moments later Winsley's Mike Little beat Rangers' offside trap only to fire wide from 18 yards.
