A NIGHT out ended with a drunken brawl in the back of a minibus, a court heard.
North West Wiltshire magistrates sitting at Trowbridge heard Anne Whatman, of Redhorn Gardens, Devizes had been celebrating her daughter's birthday at Battlesbury Barracks in Warminster.
Mrs Whatman, 37, and her husband were leaving the barracks in a minibus with a number of others in the early hours of August 3.
Prosecuting, Colin Meeke said: "One or two more in the bus were the worse for wear. All sorts of people made remarks and thumped people."
He said only one formal complaint had been made, about Mrs Whatman, who was charged with common assault and a public order offence.
Both of these were withdrawn and Mr Meeke said Mrs Whatman should instead be bound over to keep the peace.
"It is clear she was not the only one at fault," he said.
Defending, John Elliott said Mrs Whatman had needed butterfly stitches on her left eyebrow and her glasses had been broken in the incident.
She was bound over to keep the peace in the sum of £100 for six months.
