People of Westwood have released their millennium book, which follows a history of the village, mainly from the past 100 years.
The people behind the book are Sue Snailum, David Stockwell, Ros Barlett, Sheila and Terry Biles, who all asked for help from the people of Westwood. The response came in a fluster of photographs, maps, documents and newspaper cuttings.
Memories in the book come from home and abroad, coupled with a demographic survey.
The information was sifted by Sue Snailum and ultimately compiled by her into a publication of more than 190 pages.
Terry Biles, said: "Westwood had its own murderer and the elections for the first parish council were accompanied by one case of coercion."
The book contains about 80 photographs, and was released on October 11.
