A polar bear abandoned its icy Arctic home for the day to promote energy efficiency in Swindon.
Magnus was representing Warm Hearted Homes as part of its roadshow.
It is a partnership between Swindon Borough Council, Wiltshire district councils, and Wiltshire Agenda 21.
In return for making a Polar Bear Pledge and completing a home energy survey, members of the public received two free low energy lightbulbs, advice on how to cut fuel bills in the home and free entry into a prize draw to win an energy-efficient fridge freezer.
To help Wiltshire and Swindon residents make their homes more energy efficient, Warm Hearted Homes offered a 50 per cent cashback on selected DIY materials.
Jo Badham, energy efficiency advisor for Warm Hearted Homes, said: "By making their homes more energy efficient Swindon residents can help people and wildlife across the globe whose homes are threatened by global climate change."
Magnus also visited Devizes and Chippenham to promote the energy-saving message.
