A charity football match will provide spectators with the chance to win themselves a new car.

The County Ground is preparing to host a very unusual clash on Sunday.

An NSPCC celebrity XI will take on Swindon Town's promotion winning side of 1993.

It is hoped the game will raise £100,000 for projects in Wiltshire through the Full Stop Campaign.

The game brings together some unlikely opponents. The Swindon side will feature former England boss Glenn Hoddle and his assistant John Gorman.

They face a tough battle against the likes of Anthea Turner, Gary Wilmot and John Altman (Nasty Nick in EastEnders).

While the players will be looking to net some spectacular goals, three lucky spectators will also have the opportunity to score.

A Vauxhall Corsa is the prize on offer to anyone who can hit the back of the net from the penalty spot, 18 yard line and halfway line respectively.

Swindon Town chief executive Peter Rowe said: "This weekend is the NSPCC's national Football Full-Stop weekend where clubs throughout the country are being asked to back the campaign."

Tickets are £10 for adults, £5 for children and a family ticket costs £25. The box office can be contacted on 01793 333700.
