Swindon 1st XV v
Drifters 1st XV
League leaders Swindon face bottom of the league side Drifters from Slough
this weekend.
Although on paper this should be a forgone conclusion, these games can never be entered into lightly.
The two sides have never met before and Drifters are currently propping up the rest of the table after losing all six of their league games this season.
However they have managed to score in all but one of their games proving they have the fire power if they are allowed to use it. Swindon's defence will have to be on top form, as in recent weeks.
Swindon are utilising their squad system and resting one or two players this week. Mark Buckingham and Phil Ebbage take on the centres role in place of the regular pairing of James Turney and Paul Wakefield. Matt Seyneave gets another chance to show his pace on the wing, and openside flanker Paul Daniels is rested on the bench.
The Swindon coaches are still not completely happy that the young side is performing to its full potential, despite winning every league game this season.
This week will give the side a chance to prove the critics wrong and put in a good performance.

Wootton Bassett finally get to play their match against Wimborne that was called off earlier in the season during the fuel crisis.
Bassett, who travelled to Bournemouth last week and came away with an impressive
23-3 victory, are hoping to keep their impressive form going.
It was a difficult match but gives them hope for climbing up the table with another win over Wimborne.
The second string also recorded a decent away victory over Bournemouth as they beat their opponents 32-5.
