Loyalty is rare in football these days and the lower you sink in the Nationwide League, the less loyalty there seems to be.
You cannot blame Colin Todd for wanting to move from Swindon Town to more fashionable not to mention richer Derby County.
But you cannot blame Town chairman Terry Brady, either, for insisting on realistic compensation for losing a highly respected manager, even if his injunction, which he says will keep Todd "on garden leave'' for four years sounds extreme.
Nothing in the garden can be rosy until these differences are settled and Town can concentrate on getting back to winning ways on the pitch.
