THE weather played havoc with the league programme, with many matches being postponed.

Division One

New Century WMC beat the Wheatsheaf 7-3 in windy conditions. Tony Joyce grabbed a hat-trick, a double strike for Colin Yates with Lee Curtis and Sean Terry adding one each for New Century. Gary Hogg (2) and Robbie Etherington were on the scoresheet for the Wheatsheaf.

Division Two

Tran Staff jump into second place after beating Haydon Wick WMC 5-2, with a treble strike for Ian Starkey and one apiece for Simon Szczekowski and Martin Cobb. The Haydon Wick scorers were Steve Cole and Jason Thompson.

Blyskawica lost 5-1 against Athletico, Alex Bittner getting their lone goal.

Division Three

Raychem defeated Jesters 5-1, with a pair for Jason Webb and single strikes from Daniel Fylan-Smith, Steve Emby and S Freeman. Jason Kearnes was on target for Jesters.

Division Four

Nationwide beat BM Magnetics 4-0, with Jason Daly getting a hat-trick and Steve Mulraney adding number four.

Division Six

Crown beat Great Bedwyn 4-1. Three goals for Steve Dean and one from Dave Bull sealed the victory for Crown.

Ambulance Athletic lost 8-4 against Angel. Paul Stone, Clint Cooper and Mark Pushnik (2) were on target for Ambulance.

Division Seven

Southside extended their lead at the top beating Tibbett and Britten 3-2. A double strike for Wes Corbett and Andy Philpot wrapped up the points for Southside.

Division Eight

Halcrow crushed Longs Bar 11-1. four goals for Mark Dawson and Adam Harborow, player manager Ian Alderson notched a brace and Mark Mannion completed the scoring for Halcrow.

Kingsdown Inn recorded their first win of the season beating H & H Athletic 3-2, Ritchie Ricks (2) and veteran substitute John Dunn scoring.
