A firm of financial advisers based in Swindon has been banned from trading.

Grosvenor Employee Benefits, of Marlborough Road, is no longer authorised to conduct investment business.

This follows its newly-announced expulsion from the Personal Investment Authority, which polices the industry. The firm, which could not be contacted for comment today, offered workers advice on their entitlement to cash benefits.

On January 14 the company had been issued with a notice of PIA intervention, and forbidden from soliciting or conducting investment business.
