The Automobile Association has signed up its ten millionth member Jo Wills, 32, from Chippen-ham.
Mrs Wills joined the AA on October 26 at its stand at the International Motor Show, Birmingham.
She won one year's free AA motor insurance and dinner for two with an overnight stay at a local AA top-rated hotel.
Mrs Wills said: "I've been meaning to buy AA membership for a while because we occasionally drive long distances and I want the peace of mind of knowing that I'm covered if my car breaks down. It's a great honour to be the AA's official ten millionth member."
Mrs Wills was presented with a certificate and her prize by Peter Shaw, General Manager, AA Sales, who said: "Reaching ten million members is a major achievement for us and we're pleased to share our success with the member who signed up today to make it possible."
