Batman and Robin and even Bob the Builder made an appearance at a fancy dress fundraiser in aid of charity.
They were joined by adults and children wearing fairy, clown and St Trinians costumes for the event at Freshbrook Community Centre on Saturday night.
More than 60 tickets were sold and around £400 was collected which will be divided between the Imperial Cancer Fund and Princess Margaret Hospital's special care baby unit.
The fundraiser was organised by Teresa Gratton who recently lost her mother to cancer.
Partygoers enjoyed a buffet, disco and a raffle as well as the chance to dress up.
Donna Clifton, who helped Teresa organise the event, said it was a great success.
"Everyone really enjoyed themselves and the night was a chance to have a lot of fun while helping two good causes," she said.
