An Indian restaurant is celebrating national curry day next week and raising money for charity at the same time.
Proceeds from the annual event have topped £90,000 for charities since 1997.
This year the event takes place on November 7, and money raised will go to the NSPCC Full Stop campaign, which aims to eliminate child abuse, and to Mother and Child which supports needy women and children on the Indian subcontinent.
The Biplob Tandoori in Wood Street, which will donate a percentage of its takings on the day.
