Free chocolate was due to be given away at a Swindon supermarket today.

The bonanza at Tesco in Ocotal Way was all in a good cause helping chocolate producers as well as chocolate-lovers.

Aid charity Comic Relief has teamed up with The Day Chocolate Company's 35,000 small-scale cocoa growers in Ghana to produce the Dubble bar.

Aimed at children, it is a Fair Trade chocolate bar which Comic Relief is anxious to promote.

This means that the farmers who produce the raw materials receive a fair price for their wares.

Today's giveaway sampling session was scheduled to run from 11am until 7pm, including a competition with chocolate prizes.
