I THINK I must be missing the point of Rupert Burr's letter in Friday's Adver (Where is the funding for me?).
He seems to be comparing Steam Museum with his own farm enterprise. Steam represents a part of Swindon's history and achievement something to be proud of whereas Mr Burr rears animals for slaughter and invites visitors to see the animals before they meet their doom.
Mr Burr, along with another farmer who wrote recently complaining he had to get up at 4.30am to milk the cows, seem to think that they are owed a living by the rest of us. However they continue to overproduce a commodity that a lot of us don't want and none of us need.
