THE BSE disaster has cost every man, woman and child in the UK £177 each in compensation to farmers alone. This would have been very much more if we hadn't obtained funding from our European partners.
When another disaster, Thalidomide, happened the cost for compensation was borne by the drug manufacturers that caused it.
Surely it would be logical to ask for recompense from the perpetrators of this epidemic namely the British feed manufacturers and perhaps also Tory Party Central Funds as it was their government that colluded with them (in agreeing to a reduction in heat treatment etc).
