THE autumn display of nature's wonderland at Westonbirt is with us once again as the Gazette revealed last week.
However many times I witness this annual rhapsody, the magic never fades.
To walk through Westonbirt at any time of year is to feel warm, within the simplicity and naturalness of nature's dazzling seasonal offerings.
It has a radiance which shines through to alter the most jaundiced mood.
But in autumn there begins a special warmth, as the magnificent trees change through a range of colours from brilliant yellow to burnished gold and scarlet.
As winter approaches the sight of Westonbirt dressed in its cloak of autumn richness enables me to take the cold winter months in my stride. What a tonic.
