Wiltshire schoolchildren are being put through their paces by the army at a series of team building days.
Pupils from St John's School, Marlborough, were at Tidworth army camp on Friday.
And next week Colerne army camp will be hosting pupils from Sheldon School, Chippenham, Chippenham College and Corsham School. The sessions are being run by members of the Royal Gloucestershire, Berkshire and Wiltshire Regiment who are conducting a tour throughout the region to recruit new people, including a series of workshops in Swindon
Pupils are being given the chance to have a go at small arms training, assault courses and paintball games. Major David Brown said: "The aim of these events is to run a series of practical team building activities for about 30 to 40 students on each day. Hopefully by working alongside our soldiers the pupils will find their interest in the army greatly stimulated."
