Around 20 per cent of Swindon's Co-op membership took part in the society's recent elections.
More than 10,000 returned their ballot papers, 4,000 more than last year.
The election resulted in new board members. Jim Postles topped the poll with 7,445 votes.
Sitting directors Patrick Gray and Vivian Woodell were both re-elected.
Steve Allsopp and Geraint Day were re-elected in the Swindon district. Long standing director Win Hawkins retired under the age rule and will now serve the society on the Member Education Council.
Vivian Woodell and Steve Alsopp were re-elected president and vice-president.
