Wootton Bassett town councillors will be meeting in private this week to discuss the forthcoming inquiry into the controversial park and ride scheme.
The Government's planning inspectorate is holding the public inquiry on Tuesday, December 5, after North Wiltshire District Council blocked plans by Swindon Council to build on the rural buffer zone between Swindon and Wootton Bassett.
Town councillors at Wootton Bassett, who have objected to the nine acre car park being built at Spittleborough Farm since it was first proposed, will hold a private session on Thursday to discuss the matter.
They will be looking at the draft copy of the Proof of Evidence in other words the evidence being used to support the case against the park and ride.
Town clerk Johnathan Bourne said: "Although members will be discussing the draft in a private session, the final draft will be made public around three weeks before the inquiry takes place.
"Councillors first of all have to make sure they agree of the draft before it is published."
The session will take place at the end of the town council's planning committee meeting, on Thursday at 7.30pm in the council offices, Station Road.
