I have a poser of a question for all the poor souls who have been flooded. Is it an 'act of God' or man's doing?
What with global warming, melting polar caps, extreme weather which has been predicted every three years in a national tabloid this week, how can we continue to pollute the eco-system and call it an 'act of God'? Reduce pollution, reduce car emissions, return the railway system which befell the Beecham cuts. All town and city centres must ban the motorist, improving public transport. Individuals must take responsibility for their actions to ensure a world for tomorrow's generations.
In reply to Mr Bates' comments on the logo change at Swindon Services, you forgot to mention the other £25,000 and I reiterate the money would be better spent improving the services. Can I ask you to comment on 'Bates Wall' at another £35,000 to keep our Romany friends out of Liden which you failed to reply to at the time?
