DRIVER Guy Fisher, who was stopped by police while parking his car, was banned for 18 months for drink driving.
Fisher, 58, of Corn Gastons, Malmesbury, appeared before Chippenham magistrates on Monday when he pleaded guilty to a charge of drink driving.
Michelle Hewitt, prosecuting, said a police officer who stopped the Ford Escort in Corn Gastons just before 9pm on October 25 smelled drink on his breath.
At Chippenham police station a breath test showed 56 mg of alcohol to 100 ml breath. Fisher was fined £130 and magistrates agreed to reduce the ban to 14 months if he successfully completes a rehabilitation course.
