MUSIC-mad teenager Christian Gooch has brought together musical talent from Chippenham to produce a tape to raise money for Children In Need.
The compilation, entitled Chippenham's Local Talent, includes recordings of piano, flute and guitar, as well as several vocalists and some computer-engineered pieces.
Christian, 16, said: "I plan to sell it anywhere and everywhere. I don't care if I'm stopped in the street, rung or written to, as long as it raises money for this great charity.''
Christian, of Hawthorn Road, has been helped by fellow Hardenhuish School pupil Daniel Wakeham, 15, who edited the tape.
"To start with I went round the musicians at school and asked them, but then I thought I should introduce some different age ranges so I went round to other local musicians," said Christian.
"Most of the pieces were written by the performers themselves, although there are some arrangements of older people's songs so this means this tape will not just be new songs, but some people already know."
He already has orders for more than 100 tapes. Anyone who wants a copy of the tape, which costs £1.50, should contact Christian on (01249) 661378, after 4pm on weekdays.
