IN a restricted programme, Greg Chown and Hugh Brown scored the goals for Corsham United in a 2-2 home draw against White Horse Juniors. Chippenham Town saw off the challenge of Corsham Boys thanks to Jamie Harlow (4), Marshall Huffer, Zac Kluklowski and Josh Clements with Sean Kelly getting the Corsham reply.

Under 11s

ANDREW Donald led Melksham Park A to an emphatic 12-4 victory over Trowbridge Town with seven of his side's goals.

Melksham Park B were not so fortunate as their A team as they lost 9-2 away to Shaw and Whitley B. Frome Collegians went on the rampage against Trowbridge FC with 16 goals without reply.

Devizes travelled to Corsham Boys and returned victorious thanks to goals from Harry Williams, Simon and Andy Oldham, Mark Rossu and Rory Quigley. Petr Tye (2), William Hibberd (2), Ian Jeffrey and Mike Smith scored the goals for Shaw and Whitley that earned them a 6-0 home win against Chippenham Town.

Under 12s

PEWSEY and Warminster battled against the elements as well as themselves in an entertaining game that finally saw Highbury successful 6-0 thanks to goals from Dan Croker (2), Jack Jones (2), Chris Ellis and Tom Davie.

Chris Allen went on a one-man demolition job for Devizes when Melksham Park visited with six of his side's seven goals. Daniel Sloan grabbed the other with replies coming from Matthew Humphreys (2) and Daniel Waylen.

Chippenham Town Rangers hosted Corsham United and in a keenly contested game goals from Jake Marshall, Louis Baker and Michael Clarke finally saw off the hosts who scored through James Sherman.

Craig Whitbread led Stratton Juniors to an 8-0 victory over Calne Town with four of his side's goals.

Carmello Galati scored three of the others with Daniel Wallington wrapping up the scoring.

Aaron Ledgister continued his goalscoring feats with another four, this time at the experience of host club Corsham Boys. Nathan Phillimore (3) and Jamie Fyall also scored with Ross Lye getting on the score sheet for the home club.

DURRINGTON got back into league action with a 5-2 win at home to Devizes Town.

Croft Juniors continued their impressive start to the season with a 9-1 win at Corsham Boys with Mark King (4), Daniel Hiscocks (3), Louis Cunningham and Leigh Jones scoring with Matthew Ralph replying for the hosts.

Trowbridge Town continued their quest for the title with a hard fought match away to Westinghouse Youth A. Mark Dolman gave the home side an early lead that was cancelled out by a strike from Michael Barnes.

An unfortunate own goal put the visitors in the lead at the break and Ricky Montague settled matters late on. Barney Shaw in the home goal was in outstanding form and kept his side in the match with several classy saves.

Mike Barnes, with three, Will Bryant (2) and Tom Goddard, aided by an own goal, were responsible for the Marlborough goals at Hilperton United, who replied with a single strike from Paul Robinson.

Calne Town got the better of Westbury Youth in an entertaining encounter at Calne. Darren Holcombe (2), Robert Kelty (2), Marcus Neal and Chris Robinson scoring the goals to which the visitors could not answer.

In miserable weather, Melksham Park and Castle Combe conjured up a really entertaining game. Mike Maguire (2), Johnny Foreman and Ricky Summers scored for Combe with Nick Rideout scoring twice in reply for the hosts.

Under 14s blue

THE only game go survive the elements in this division was played out between home side South Newton & Wishford and Stratton Juniors.

Stratton started the day three points ahead of their opponents but found themselves three goals down at the break. Stratton rallied in the second half getting back in the game with goals from S Cooke and A Levett but a fourth for South Newton secured the game for them and the points. South Newton saw goals from Jason Morgan (2), Harry Bennett and Damian Creese.

WARMINSTER Highbury move up the table from eighth to fifth following their 3-0 away victory against Melksham Park. Full praise was given to Melksham for battling on despite being unable to get out of their half in the last thirty minutes of the game due to an extremely strong wind. Highbury saw goals from Lee Romain, Tom Wettlewell and Mark Bailey.

In a top of the table clash division leaders Trowbridge Town Youth were away to second place Amesbury Juniors. Trowbridge took a four-goal advantage to the last twenty minutes when Amesbury found the target through Danny Short to get onto the score sheet. Short scored a second for Amesbury but it was too little too late to make a difference with the game finishing at 4-2. Chris Gittings (3) and Darren Barnes scored for Trowbridge.

SEVERAL games got underway but were abandoned during the first half when the weather took a turn for the worse.

Some teams made it to the final whistle including the match between home side Amesbury Juniors and Calne Colts. The first half saw Calne playing a passing game whilst Amesbury tried the long ball. In the forty second minute of the first half Amesbury took the lead through Michael Robinson then started the second half much brighter but failed to crack Calne's defence.

Amesbury held on to their narrow lead until the seventy-second minute of the game when James Gorman chipped the keeper for the game to finish on level terms at 1-1. The one point from the game moves Calne into second in the table on goal difference but level on points with the leaders Trowbridge Town Youth 2nd's.

VISITORS Devizes Town Youth doubled their half time score to 2-0 five minutes into the second half of their game against South Newton and Wishford. South Newton then got their game together and upped the pace getting back into the match with a goal from Geoff Bonner before Richard Blanchard scored the equaliser for it to finish all square at 2-2.

Under 17s red

PHIL Maw put visitors Marlborough Juniors 1-0 up at the break but a 25-yard lob from Lavington's Phil Dodgeson put the game back on level terms five minutes into the second half.

The game continued on an even keel until the last few minutes when Tom Paine gave Marlborough the lead for the second time then Paine secured the game with a second in the death throws of the game. Marlborough are now comfortable at the top of the table with a nine point lead over their nearest rivals.
