A free event where disabled adults and children can try a variety of sports has been organised for this weekend.
The programme will offer the opportunity for people to sample tennis, basketball, football, indoor athletics and sportsability which includes games such as table cricket and boccia, a sitting down version of boules.
And a new Saturday Club is being launched in the New Year for youngsters with disabilities.
Saturday's one-off event at the Oasis Centre will include sports for people who have to rely on wheelchairs and those who don't.
Support workers, carers and families of those interested in attending can also get in free.
The event, called Sporting Chance, has been organised by Swindon Council's lifestyle development team.
Children aged from eight to 16 years are invited to attend from 10am to 12.30pm. Adults aged 17 years and over should attend between 1.30pm and 4pm.
In January, the Sporting Chance Saturday Club will be launched at the Link Centre for eight to 16-year-olds.
The club will be divided into two groups those aged between eight and 11 will meet between 10.30am and 11.30am, and those aged from 12 to 16 will meet between 11.30am to 12.30pm.
