TROWBRIDGE Lions are holding an auction at the Civic Hall on Thursday at 8pm to raise money for the Lions holiday caravan which has to be replaced.
Each year the Lions give 27 needy families a week's caravan holiday at Brean Sands.
Transport to and from the holiday is also provided by the Lions, so the only cost to the families is food.
Trowbridge town crier and fundraising chairman for the Lions Trevor Heeks has been busy collecting items to be sold in the auction.
Some of the top items already collected are a two-week self-catering holiday in Spain and a three-day pass for nine people to travel on P&O ferries from Portsmouth to Cherbourg.
Advance bids can be made by contacting Mr Heeks on (01225) 782774.
