THE Melksham Farmers' Market is at a different location today in a bid to encourage trade.
The farmers' market was launched last spring and was a popular event.
In recent months attendance dropped to the point where many of the farm producers were not making any money and were threatening to pull out.
Today stall holders will set up in the car park in Church Street in Melksham. The market was originally held at the Riverside Centre off Bath Road.
Cllr Alison Irving, West Wiltshire District Council spokesman for Economic Development and Tourism said: "The farmers' markets support local producers and give people a fantastic choice of local food and drink."
The market will run from 9am to 1.30pm.
