A TEENAGER who threw a concrete slab through a glass window during a drunken rampage appeared in court charged with being drunk and disorderly behaviour.

Andrew Duckett, 18, of Westfield Close, Trowbridge pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared at North West Wiltshire Magistrates' Court in Trowbridge.

Amanda Sawetz, prosecuting, said Duckett had thrown the concrete slab after getting drunk in a car with friends.

She said: "When interviewed by police he said he had consumed 13 bottles of strong alcoholic drink.

"He was so drunk he couldn't remember what he was doing."

Stacey Turner, defending, said Duckett had no previous convictions and the offence was completely out of character.

Duckett was ordered to pay £158 compensation and prosecution costs of £55.
